Hi all,
still on with sorting my TM 55 out when I can get the spare time ...
Anyway, I have been making a BIG spanner to fit the adjuster nuts & freeing off and sorting the track tensioners, this is my 1st track-marshall, I have a few other crawlers but they are all older. Bristol 10, 20, 25, Allis M, I.H.C T6, Cat D2, Fordson County type Z. The adjusting lock nuts freed off fairly easily, but the bolt which sits on the rod of the tensioner must of never been greased since the day it left Marshall's !!! FARMER'S ! What a swine me on a bar, my dad warming it with the cutting tourch & a mini-digger putting tension on it .... got it in the end though. Good job too because it would of bugged me when I'm back in work tomorrow !
take a look at link to the pictures .....
Thanks , Carl
