Track Marshall Dozer

Post #1 by Aussie Rob » Wed Nov 14, 2012 7:51 am

We are in Australia, and have so little information available on the Track Marshalls. They were imported and assembled here by Moore Road Machinery who no longer exist. Ours has a Perkins 4.27, so believe it to be a 55 or 56. Have seen quite a few pics, but none which help us identify ours. The round metal front badge seems to be genuine, and it has metal "TRACK-MARSHALL" badges on each side (but these may have been made by Moore Road Machinery) We cannot find any pics. of Track Marshalls which have front rams up high where ours are - near top of radiator support panel. Would greatly appreciate any information which will help.

Hi bigkit, and many thanks for your pics. They show us where ours is different.- Will try to work out how to get pics uploaded - Is there a quick, simple way to do so? (I'm not very good at working computer stuff out!)

Save the picture you want to post in "pictures" on your computer. Close picture file.Get CMN thread up. Hit post reply. Write what you want. Go down to add file hit the browse button. When the drop down window/menu comes up go into "pictures", find the gallery and click on the picture you want to upload. The hit submit button at the bottom of the reply page.

Got that! :dizzy:

I'm lost and I wrote it!!!!!!!

Good luck

Hi bigkit -Once again, many thanks for your help. Will see if this "unsavvy" beginner can follow your instructions. When I tried to read site data, got lost and got the idea it wasn't possible.

Hi bigkit. Thanks for the info -easy enough to understand how to upload pics - but didn't seem to work for me when I tried it. - Will try again and hope I eventually 'get it'. (Hope I don't end up flooding the site with the same pic. over and over in my attempts to get it right!)

Hi Aussie Rob

Yes your photos are visible

Sorry I cannot identify it for you.

It could be that the radiator cowl & bonnet metalwork etc were locally built as style is more like later UK TM machines but dash area is diffrent from photos of them. They may have shipped as a bare chassis skid unit, with locally fitted dozer gear and other components.

I'll try and find some photos from a event were there were a number of latter TM machines to see if any of them look similar, but photos are not on this pc so canot check them for now.
