Two additional Pics, One a cab shot of the rock we are ripping. Its Schist I believe it has an Mpa of around 10-15 (correct me if I am wrong)
The second pic is me with the dipstick.

After getting the suction hose fitted the other day I thought I would have some fun in the gully , Its the next job on the list.
after an hour I had a break when I thought I heard a different noise , and gave the tractor a once over, and noticed the Dipstick was missing.
I spend 30mins looking for it and had a break. Then went back later to try to replicate the noise (which I have not heard since)
and uncovered the dipstick. to celebrate my luck I brought a lottery ticket.
Which is good as all the dozer wreckers in Nz did not have a Dt-817 dipstick
