Got one of the D8's still out on this private estate belonging to one of my regular customers.
It's lovely work next to my yard covering miles and miles of lovely farm land.
Can tramp the tractors from the yard, allthough this year as seen some lowloader involvement.

Been too busy with other non plant related boring things to give the ripping tractor any thought.
Had it about 5 weeks now and it's done a little bit up North although I haven't driven it myself yet.
I got it back a week ago and it can stay in the yard for the winter.
Had quite a lot of enquiries for it allready, but all either too far north or too far south!
I have some regular customers in my area that will use it at some point.

At close of business 2016 there are 2 D8's currently in the yard. There is also one out on a job allthough it's been stood since October. It will go back to work in the next decent frost or dry spell.
The D8R has only seen brief action as a dozer but has landed a hefty ripping contract in January.
The lowloader is coming for it second week in Jan.
It's been tarted up to suit the needs and requirements of the safety bods at 2 quarries that it will feed.
Another D8 is going out 9th January onto a 25000 cube bulk push out job. They want a scraper too,but I have advised against that idea.Spring will be soon enough for those buggers.
I also have a small tractor and box job to spread about 5000 cube of topsoil any time to suit me next year with one of my regular customers. It's ongoing work.
I have been mooching abit for another D8R to help out if things go wrong allthough TC is on top of things.
I will be operating the ripping job myself for a week or so to see how it performs and have two drivers to cover the older D8 who are handy with the spanners until TC arrives.
Merry Christmas.
