Still going at this particular site.
Rain doesn't bother us too much.
Got plenty more to go at.

Still got the tractor and box out stripping topsoil.
Such is the demand, they are even taking wet soil .
Got the other old D8 up on the same job aswell for the shorter stripping during the dreadful weather we've had all September and October so far.
Been unusually busy this season with the old D8's and have been getting plenty of enquiries for the cheap option to move muck .

Had the D8R back in the yard in September for a local plant show.
Got chance to repair some broken bolts and a crack in the mole board.
It also had all the panels and floor plates removed and a good jet wash down.
It also got onto a couple of lowloaders this month to shift it between different customers.
I hope to get it back over the Christmas break to let TC reseal 2 hoist rams on the blade.

Its good to see that there are still some company's that appreciate the proper way to strip topsoil instead of 360's and dump trucks.

Glad to see your still busy Nicky  you're right about the weather too; too much wet stuff but I guess we should all be used to that by now living in this country. :)

Good to see that there's still a place for traditional muck shifting. I read in Earthmovers that CORE have imported three used 631s and a 637 from France for a job in Yorkshire. There'll be shortage of drivers soon - even more so when/if HS2 gets underway .

One of the D8 and boxes just finished last week and returned to the yard.
