Its one of two 22As we used to have they were used as agricultural tractors, ploughing, subsoiling and mole ploughing I have posted these pics in the past on ACMOC but I thought people might be interested to see them again

Hello Simon,are you still running the challenger 75 or have you changed it ,
we still run our 2 22As for ploughing and flat-lifting,but i bought a challenger 65
for high speed top work and has plenty of power to spare pulling the land-packer,
the D6C now demoted to pulling the 5 mtr dyno-drive.

Roly I have done a good bit fettling these rubber band jobs (65-75-85s) I have yet to find one set up correctly in the roller-bogey bit, the airbag is nearly always only blown up to 10-15 psi instead of the correct psi, the steering and ride is crap without the correct setting of these bags, I am thinking that you are master of the beast, CAT by the way are not to keen to get involved with these flat line tractors, the service back-up is very poor from all outlets ,no doubt you will get on fine with it.

Hi Tony,the tractor goes well and i now know who to ring
if it needs fixing,i will check out the air-bag presure,the only
problem weve had was a diesel leak from the thick rubber gasket
between the fuel low level switch and diesel tank,finnings could,nt
find a part no from there up-to date computerised data-base and
said it was unabtainable,i asked if they had an old parts book to look
up the number and said no everything was updated to disc,but there
it was on a old microfish and in the parts book,grimbergan showed
4 at under £3 each.

Roly try about 50psi in the air bag and adjust up or down as you like, it makes a marked change in both turning and ride, I was listening to one of my customers asking CAT Finning to undertake a repair to a 75, they fobbed him off to some Agg Co dealers, these are the tribe that sell the new "rubber band jobs" with the big back wheel, they also sent my customer packing, saying they dont touch the early tractors and would not be wanting any involvment with it what-so-ever, in the end I poked about in the thing and soon had it Flying, it pays to keep the bogey rollers in good fettle, air ride pumped up and keep the thing out of puddles, those track belts are not to good in water, I look after 3 of these farm Billy jobs, none of them are used heavily,
