Just been watching a video about Stokeys D11 and it said it was moving 60-70 ton in a 1-minute pass.

My maths isn't great but I make that 40-50 thousand tons a shit - is that right?!

I think someone is missing a F oh what a difference one F can make

60 - 70 ton a minute would depend on how far it has to shifted the dirt that is not the other stuff I dribble enough of that as it is LOL would also have a lot to with how far you have back up for the next cut

Yes and no.

Spends half the time dozing and the other half ripping.

Good operator on her, does most the pushing "slot dozing".

A proper way to move mineral over short distance. As for ripping, before the 11 landed on site I've seen a D10 with the ripper down, a D9 with its blade on top of the ripper pushing forward and down and anot her D9 pushing the back trying to get the D10 ripper in the ground and penetrate the rock.

Ground is as hard as a whores heart on that site but the D11 manages to break it.
