Hi Dah,

it has been confirmed as a real machine, several units are tested in Austria, Russia and Australia. I didn't realized Cats High Drive patents expired till this topic came up...
It's not the first time Liebherr is reproducing a Cat undercarriage, the PR751 had a D8K style one.

I really do think these bits of kit look awesome! Liebherr tackle always looks so much more beefy and better made than most other manufacturers!

saw a chassis of one in development but yet to see the completed thing.

I've heard that all undercarriage wear components are interchangeable with Caterpillar D10s, not unlike the new Deere 1050Ks being the same as D8s.
