Hi, D65EX-12.
That jigger is a Fowler VF crawler with a dozer blade fitted - early-mid 1950s and NOT one of the better machines in its class from that era. Single cylinder, horizontal, fore-n-aft, approx. 25 - 30 hp, 2 stroke diesel with either cartridge start or hand start with a powder-impregnated paper lit and inserted into a 'torch' which was then screwed into the cylinder head before cranking. They came standard with both starting systems.

Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

They werent a bad little crawler in there day back end as in final drives were a bit weak in the castings I think mainly when used in rough conditions were stuff got caught in tracks
A lot of people say it was shock loading ie running into something hard but I think the main thing was tracks over tightened and the way we used them

Paul

Havent seen you on here for years Deas welcome back
Your better to die trying than live on your knees begging
