Paulz did you sort out the blue smoke?

Yes, rather simply! I read that a stuck automatic injector advance and the resulting retarded timing will cause smoking, and further that old diesel fuel will grow mold that can make the advance stick. So I put in a bottle of additive that is supposed to kill the mold and after an hour or so it cleared up and runs very clean now (you can see the stack in the previous video, no smoke!).

On top of that the stuck steering clutch is now free and working without taking that apart, and it's even been starting without needing a jump! The only down side to the whole plot is I am pretty much finished with what I needed it for! Ah well, I'm sure more will come up. Sure wish it looked as nice as the one in your link!
