D6C Dozer at work.

Post #1 by John Gaunt » Thu Aug 06, 2009 4:26 pm

I took some pictures of a really nice D6C working recently at the Rougham airfield rally Nr Bury St Edmunds.
The Cat area was next to the LandRover area. The latter wanted a course to give the public rides showing the LR's off road capability, with proceeds goign to charity. One of our Cat Club members had just unloaded his D6C dozer and was happy to oblige by constructing the course. Herewith a few pics.

Just wondered who the owner is John. Great pictures and it looks a very proffessional restoration of a truely classic tractor. I first learned to drive on a D6C.

Hi Andrew. The owner (and driver) is Paul Badger, and he gave me his permission to post the pictures on here. The tractor has indeed been very professionally restored, and ran like a clock, just like new  Paul has done a superb job on it.
