Hi

I also own a FAI 212 mini excavator. It is a 1990 edition with 3 cilinder Perkins engine.
As the previous owners have not kept the instructions and those are really difficult to find online, I would have some questions to any of you who handled such mchine.
I have the control panel . On the top left side there are 3 switches, letfmost one is the light on the arm, the right one is the heater and the middle one I don't know.
Same question for the lights above the time-meter. here are 4 of them, the right most one is the glow plug.
When starting up, the 1,2 and 4 are lit, and after the engine starts they are off. Is this normal?
What is the meaning of 1,2 and 3?

Now about fluids.
I have exchanged coolant and engine oil & oil filter.
I'm looking now to replace air and fuel filters. I have not found the hydraulic filter. Is there any and if yes, where is it?
Can I use 10W40 motor oil for hydraulics? How many liters do I need and where can I bleed the entire system?

It is obvious that I'm a beginner, but I like this a lot (mechanics) and willing to learn.

I'll appreciate your answers
Thanks in advance,
D.
