Mini Plant

Post #1 by Nick Drew » Sat Dec 15, 2007 9:46 pm

Here's a couple of little bits of kit that were recently deployed at my Brother in laws house to dig out for a new patio.

A small Kubota micro excavator and a Spanish made Ausa dumper, very useful little machines.

And to think that in 1979 people said that mini diggers would never catch on!! :dizzy:

To be Honest IBH, these small "micro" machines can be harder to operate then the bigger kit :dizzy:

They are so light, which in turn makes the controls very "Touchy" & sensitive !!

Ha Ha Ha the mini gear's miles better than doing it by hand thats for sure.

Shake the travel levers back and forth on the mini and watch it dance ;)

Your right what you say, The bigger the machine the more numb it becomes. I think you would be frustrated at first on a RH120 as they dont move or react as quick like a CAT 320 for instance.

Heres another small JCB manufactured mini digger trying hard to pick up and travel with a heavy road plate :dizzy:
