hello tim ,i am over in popley at the moment
you must have been delivering to the boys doing the pump house
did they tell you about the incident with the hired in mini digger and breaker
word is the breaker had some serious cracks around the pin holes and it ended up on the floor
when the buckets were inspected some were found to have serious cracking
so that hire co has had all their machines right through the company off hired with immediate effect
someone will be in for a bollocking
cheers graham

Re: downsizing
BOYS ,It's good to see you can still have a laugh and joke between one another in times like these.Interested in what you were saying about the hire machine cracks. I would imagine the machine was inspected before it went out on hire and some one from the firm that hired it would have looked to see it was OK and nothing wrong with it so when it came back off hire you wouldn't be responsable for damage done while on hire. Either the hire firms gear is rubbish and no one checked, or the operator flogged the life out of it and has not reported the damage till it fell apart. Someone must greases and service the machine, surely cracks bad enough that the breaker fell off must have been able to be seen and reported??? ian.
