Alright John,
I had a little go on the 385 yeh, difficult to drive with that long stick. Just the slightest move on the lever and its going places! There was a few different sensitivity settings, the least sensitive of which my workmate said was too slow so just had to master it how it was.
I haven't been on a telescopic but I'd imagine they're probably more controllable at this sort of height (40m+), what would u say? I know you've been drivin coleman's 850 but have you done any recently?
Just learning the ropes myself so 345 @26-28m metres is more than enough.

Re: ARMAC
yeah the telescopic ones are much better coz you have a shorter intermediate so yeah think it would be hard to master the 385 .bet you could over reach your self easy but the cat 350 coleman has you can drive it like it has the standered arm on coz it is well balanced but havent done much tho duo to the work so been having to find work myself but high reach work is intresting tho

Well the demo work at this site is nearly over now just a pity I don't know the exact time they were moving the machines, wouldn't mind getting some pics of em being loaded up.
Last couple of pics from this site from me thats quite a monster hammer on the end of the 650 bet the dentist could have some fun with that.
