A few more from today, coincidently I also found out a little more about the work on the site where the munitions were found, apparently there were old grenades amongst the munitions and some of these actually went through the crusher  fortunately they did not explode.

Sam Kelly informed me that one of Colemans high reach demo machines had been seen in Tipton and wondered if I knew anything about what was due for demolition?

Now I could only think of one pair of tower blocks that I knew were going to be demolished and they are at Ocker Hill which forms part of Tipton between Wednesbury and Great Bridge, these tower blocks and the immediate area around them are rather notorious to say the least :shifty: and have earned the local nickname of "The Lost City" :wtf:

Anyway I got my armed body guards and twenty Rottweilers  and went down to have a quick look (very quick no wheels on car when I got back two seconds latter  )

I took these pics of Colemans 984 looking like an executioner in between the condemmed tower blocks.

Just a few shots taken today I will be posting many more and also some footage, the 984 is making short work of the first block of flats at the "Lost City" with half of the first block down already.

Okay and a few more I will endeavor to look through some of the camcorder footage I took and upload that to youtube if its okay.
Demo was going fine until the 984 lost a tooth from the shear :wtf: another was soon found and fitted so it was business as usual when I went back in the afternoon. It's amazing just how many folk have just stood watching this machine at work and many taking pictures too.

Cheers Thibault  . Okay last pics for the moment I may go back and take more when they start on the second block, they have progressed quite well when you consider that they only started with the 984 on Monday and the first block is halfway down already.
