Have Armoury demolition entered administration?

Post #1 by Joes1989 » Sun Mar 27, 2011 6:14 pm

Just been reading this months Earthmovers and whilst flicking through the pages i see an auction advert for alot of Armoury Demo's kit in there......Its Armoury Demolition auction as ordered by there administrators.....

Is this just to keep costs down or are they really struggling?

They have there Zaxis 870 UHDin there along with
2x Zaxis 470LCH's
2x 09 EC360C's
2x 08 EC360CL's
3x 08 Zaxis 225USRLC-3
1x 07 Zaxis 130LC
1x 06 Zaxis 70LC
and a

ZW170-3 rubber duck along with numerous other bits of kit......

I havent heard anything about this so im just curious

Cheers

Joe

Yes, Shame for them to have gone. No shortage of demolition comanys though, many to compete with.

Theres Armac, DSM, Colemans, Wring, Lee group, 777 and loads more that competed for the same type of work. Shame.

I knew that armoury were having problems, didnt realise it was that bad thopugh. Had a call off one of their guys october last year as was going for a job there operating, but then when i spoke to him a few weeks later he said that they had lost a contract and it put them in an awkward position. Didn't think it would be the dimise of them though! Shame though, as would have loved to have finally got the chance to learn the ropes! Hey ho, one day............. lol

Didnt Armoury take down JCB's old tracked and Wheeled excavator build facility?

yeah thats right joe, it was heavy products in uttoxeter. used a js330 demo rig, a 460xd, a 22xd and a 456. If im right all the machines were bought for the contract except for the 460 which was JCBs demo machine as JCB terms were that only JCB equipment could be used.
