Post #1 by TUHD » Sat Feb 14, 2015 11:40 pm

The Volvo EC 700B is very good demolition excavator. 32m Boom with 2,5 tons tool. It is also possible to work with short boom and extension for heavy demolition. Than it reaches 16.6m high and can work with 7 tons tool. For good stability it has a hydraulic adjustable undercarriage. Laarakkers Sloopwerken from Sambeek is the world first demolition contractor that bought world's first Volvo EC 700B HR. On the video it is demolishing the old Maas Ziekenhuis in Boxmeer.

Volvo EC 700B HR demolition excavator of Laarakkers. Working in the center of Dusseldorf. Demolishing a heavy concrete safe of a bank. So no any vibrations are allowed and there is a restriction for the noise. So that requires the use of a big concrete shear. Laarakkers used a 8,3 tons Mantovanibenne / Dehaco CR 80R concrete shear.
