Hi all,
Well I am now back in the land of grey skies
And I thought I would share some shots of kit I found whilst out and about on the island.
The first shot is of a Cat 623B elevating scraper which I spotted last year but could not get close enough to snap it, the owner told me that this machine was responsible for a lot of the earthworks around Jandia where we always stay, but hasnt moved for quite a few years now !! as you can see it now babysits a selection of dogs
Nick.

Re: A few Fuerteventura Holiday snaps !!
Ok, I have just had to dash to help the other half with unpacking suitcases
Now I continue to post a few more shots....Came across this Cat 245B ME just across the road from the scraper along with the 375, it never ceases to amaze me how they just leave bits of kit lying around on the Canary islands.
The 245 seems to be a tidy machine for its age, no doubt she has had a bit of a respray at some point.
A few days later I spotted that this 375 had arrived next to the 245, so a quick U-turn was deployed and back up for a few more snaps, much to Lorna's delight ha ha!!
On another trip up to the north east coastal resort of Correllejo I came across a couple of old bits of kit which are sometimes employed to clear the sand which is from time to time blown on to the main road.
The Cat 920 loader looks like it has been brought in from Grand Canraria with the GC on the registration plate.
And also at the same spot was this old Ford tractor C/W dozer blade
