Hi Guys, ;)

This unusual little loader/tool carrier was working on a site that I was on last week.

It was being used by a team of monoblock layers to move sand and packs of blocks.

I had not heard of this German firm before Weidemann :dizzy:

They are not that unusual in Sweden but I guess it depends on the importers.
A friend of mine has a Weidemann (unknown size) in his business. He uses it just like the one on your pictures.
I could use a loader that size myself (or a Volvo L25) but I can´t afford it right now. I have other more important needs first.

Edit:
Nick, you seem to find machines to photograph every day. I guess that you even sleep with your camera besides you.

Weidemann are owned by Wacker AG the German manufactuer of compaction and light construction equipment, who are currently merging with Neuson to form Wacker-Neuson.
Weidemann products are also sold under the Wacker brand.

Neuson has an interesting line of products and they also have a another loader brand in house (Kramer) before their merge with Wacker.

Weidemann were first imported into the uk by CANT's of Framlingham who in tern appointed F.E.Weatherill as their agents. Weatherills sold quite a few machines all around the UK they also under took them on a heavy schedule of Plant and County shows. The range at that time was the 1002, 1702, 2002 and the 3002. When Weatherills and Cant's closed I think the importer became Small Loaders in Norfolk. I will try and dig out some pictures that I have of the machines at work around the uk.

Thanks for the pics.I had heard of them, but not seen one.Looks like a handy sized weapon.
I notice my local excavator agent is selling Wacker-Neuson gear recently.
Is Neuson an old company?

These machines are quite popular in agriculture for getting into buildings with low roofs.
