I hope this is the place to ask this question.
What do you use for everyday transportation of tools (shovels, rakes, bars, sledge's...), fuel, mechanics tools....
Do you use pickup trucks? Vans?
Daily transportation
Re: Daily transportation
Hi Nick!
I use an old, dirty, rusty, filthy Renault Express -91 minivan. 270 000 km (168 000 miles) but runs to good to be true.
It takes lots of beating everyday and it still wakes up happy next day and ready to take even more beating. Could it be better?
Ok, I admit that I try to hide it so my customers cannot see it.

Re: Daily transportation
Hi Nick,
I generally run a small van to take me to & from the job site, I keep a decent collection of tools, cleaning gear, boots coats etc in the back.
I had a Vauxhall (Opel for our european friends) Corsa van but have recently uprgraded to a Peugeot 207 which is proving to be very economical.
We also have a Mitsubishi L200 Raging Bull which we took delivery of a couple of weeks ago after trading in our Warrior. They are doing some great deals at the moment simply because they are having trouble shifting metal!! This new one costs me £45 per month less then the last one we had and I got 4 yrs free servicing in the deal!
