First off, how come there isn't a generator/genset category?

I know the importance of a generator and its use, but what factors come into play when you're trying to install one? The obvious are location and mounting, but are there other factors?

Gensets don't tend to get mentioned on here very much probably as they aren't used as much as on your side of the pond. Where were you thinking of installing a generator and for what use? Domestic or industrial?
