Hi David, Welcome to CMN :wave: as a former crankshaft grinder I can tell you that most cranks (Cat aside) can have 0.030" ground off them but any engine recon company would almost certainly tell you if the crank was salvageable just by looking at it. I don't know where you would get another cr...

Jeremy..... That machine might have had a mechanical failure!! I had something similar happen on my old cat and had to leave it for 3 days with its arm in a raised position! Fred I should think that wagon in the first pic must be a unique design? Cos I have never seen a truck with a steam traction engine rear wheel before :wtf: :think:
