New bearings can be obtained for bearing suppliers, as pattern from original measurements or numbers taken off the bearings.I have stripped down machines and got replacements that way no problem and at reasonable cost

The last few inches of chrome always gets a battering from tarmac, stones and other crap.A reseal usually does it. I had an old JCB 3 that had been layed up for years, the leg was stuck so bad, I had to use a backhoe on another machine on its foot to force the leg down.The joys of old machines :lol:...

I assume that you are in the Bristol area, Pirtek at Avonmouth could do hoses, also there are a few tyre places in that area.

We used to get a lot of problems with the old JCB's legs.You will be surprised how much crap is traped inside the leg box section. I use to remove the ram, pressure wash out the guides. Then check the ram off the machine by connecting hoses to the ram conections and operating it till the pressue rel...
