Re: Caterpillar D2

Hello Martyn

Thanks for posting, D2 looks great. The flowers look good too. Brilliant rstoration.
Bet the new ones wont look and run like that when they are 70+ years old.
Good luck with the TD6. Take it easy!

Re: Priestman Excavators

Hi All
Found this on the net. :o
Priestmans tried to sell me one of these 1979/80. They were marketing three models of these "badge engineered" Tecuchis.
Minis were new then and I thought they were a waste of time  . How wrong can you be? :?: :?:

Re: Yumbo

Hello Steve
Interesting find. Heres an earlier Yumbo truck-mount (1940s??) .
Interesting geometry and hydraulics on the shovel. That combined arm/ram must have taken some stick??

Re: 22A and Box

Thanks Alan, great photos. I wonder why a few dump trucks and an excavator seems such a boring way to move earth comapred to a D8 and box ? Yes Chris I was the fitter who put the sucker fans for the winter. I used to do a few shifts on them some times. We had to make do with old Onions boxes. Great...
