Had not noticed the question above. Chaseside were making Rope Shovels through the 1930s based on the Fordson model N. The skid would have switched to the E27N about 1946/47. There are pictures to be found of Rope Shovels on the new Fordson Major E1A which was introduced in late 1951. My guess that ...

Don't see tippers that big on 4 axles, never mind 3. The red Leyland Reiver 6 down , agree it is enormous, maybe some photo edit trickery but nothing else looks stretched and why ? Craig I reckon at 24'x7'6"x3' is best part of 20cuYd if my guesstimations are right. Very odd length for a 6 whee...
