i have just serviced my brakes and all the parts are easy to access by removing the cab floor plates.

I'll second that, a fantastic job. :bow: How much new tin have you put in that cab? Did you get the repair sections folded up or do them yourself? I'd be interested to see more details on this area as I'm considering a 3c as a future project and expect to have to tackle similar problems re cab rot.

well im still working on getting my old girl back in good fetal so far repaired the back acter by replacing the bush tubes, new bush's n pins removed the cab stripped all the tinworm eaten metal and remade with new, replaced all broken glass and repainted cab and inside mainframe, stripped the brake...

strange i have a 3c mk11 and can remove the sump guard with no problem at all ,in fact i did it about three weeks ago to remove the sump and a piston . managed to get spanner on the outside and used a socket through the drain plug cut out on the inside and just over the guard at the the the front . ...
