Hi Seamus, Whilst I am not familiar with bleeding the cooling system on a 3CX, I would suggest that you look for the highest point after the thermostat (usually the top hose),run the engine to temperature and then CAREFULLY slack off the top hose clip and insert a screw driver or suitable tool under...

Cheers :D I'm glad that people appreciate the pictures, I did take around 300 and may post small video clip latter but I'm just experimenting with that for the minute.

Joe I didn't take any pics of the 210 with the tiltrotator on it, like you I found it hard to take some pictures as there were too many people in the way.

A few more pics from the show today, I must say that the show was still well attended despite the lack of some of the major players like Cat and Komatsu, even Liebherr only had a small stand.

Do these perkins engines have a balancer shaft? No balancer fitted. Perkins in massey 50HX did have balance shafts . Not all engines require balancer shafts, it would probably be the three cylinder engines that would require them or some of the longer stroke engines. Most engines simply utilize lar...
