Re: New drivers CPC

I totally agree with all the above comments, its all a load of BO**OCKS, i'm sure there are plenty of people who are out of work or trying to earn a crust who are put off going into trucking or heavy equipment operating because of the expense and red tape! What a surprise to find out the rest of eur...

Re: Caterpillar 950

Excellent find, there cannot be many of them kicking about i the UK.
It would make a nice little project restoring it back to its former glory.

Re: Caterpillar's purchase of Bucyrus

I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the ex bucyrus machines in cat colours, i dont think the photoshopped images on the cat website do them justice. I agree with SRB and Gavin84w about the 5000 series machines, when you browse through various forums and they all spout the same information about ...

Re: Safety gone mad

I hate the slogans "where there's blame there's a claim" and "no win no fee" no wonder our insurance premiums are going through the roof. To me there should be a common sense law applied to all of these cases and if it was deemed common sense was applied then the case should be t...

Excellent photos L.Kezz

There is nothing better than turning up to a site with your camera to find machines working close to the boundary with the sun shining on them!

Re: Wardles D10T?

Sweet photos Stu  Its the first time i've seen mesh fitted to a dozer which looks smart, though i dont like the handrails near the cab, it seems to be a big H&S thing at the moment, its sprouting up on Excavators and other machines which i think spoils the appearance! Regards Mike D550 ...

Re: New TR100's dogging on

Excellent photos Stu  What do the operators think of them?

Was there any particular reason for buying Terex as opposed to Cat or Komatsu Haulers?

Re: How many left?

I was at Shotton only a couple of months ago and saw some of their 631/637's parked up. I had a conversation to one of the site supervisors about them and he said they would probably not get put to work again! Sad news as i watched these machines strip the top soil for the Fox Covert and Shotton sit...
