I think Dowdswell the plough manufacturers had some input into the design of the3pt linkage so that the crawler could handle an offset semi mounted plough. But I'm sure someone on here will have the full story. I don't think we ever closed the doors, always hot in the cab.

I recall that grain tanks on trailers were quite popular. We went through the ritual of putting the "grain sides" on the trailers before harvest, this on an MF trailer and a home made trailer that you would use for muck cart, rubble, seed corn and fertiliser bags and then press it into ser...

Purchased at a farm sale, originally sold by Eaton Tractors at Little Paxton. Used on our farm for a number of years and the sold and exported back to Europe. Another rummage in the slide box and a few more New Holland 8060 shots. Probably of interest is the straw spreader and the Griffith Elder Yield per field weighing apparatus on the unloading auger telling us that we weren't gowing 3 tons to the acre yet.
