This tractor was e British Rail Brighton Station yard they were used for shunting standard rail trucks using the winch to get things moving and then tow, some were fitted with a pusher blade frame front and rear.

Finally managed to get it up and running with its original Drayton Diesel engine. The electric start is a real bonus. There is still time to enter if you crack on and e mail a form. The ITW is driven by chains from the front wheels to the rear, steering is via brakes on the diff which drives the front wheels, have just refitted it's original drayton diesel engine and hope to have it in as found but running conditio...

Found some pictures of a couple of Whitlock machines taken at Tractor World 2015 the loader is a WR8 (Whitlock Ransomes) the dumper is a WR4. Yes it is apparently they used to make them for MG Crawlers as a drop in pod so I asked them to make me a new one.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes it is the machine at Tractor World Fred, not quite so shiny now though.The Whitlock loader behind it on your picture is also one of mine.
