Re: Manitou mb25 forklift

Not familiar with these but it sounds like the mast has over reached and the telescopic bit is out of it's guide rail, or it's reached past a 'stop' and can't return. Best I can suggest is park it with the forks over a lorry bed or similar as you can inspect it without a ladder, you're not under it ...

Re: What are these objects?

I can't expand the pic but they don't look unlike what we call 'dragons teeth' or more officially known as Tank Stops. There was a WW2 GHQ stop line on the east coast that would have been inland but sort of parallel to the coast. Just a possibility.

Re: What are these objects?

Re: chocolate mousse in the radiator

Lancaster at Derwent

Sort of military, and sort of classic. I've heard rumors that there will be a flypast by Lancaster over the Derwent Dam on the 18th of June. Time etc. unsure at the moment. May be of interest.

Re: chocolate mousse in the radiator

I had a '79 Ford 6600 that steamed like a train from the crankcase breather. No trace of water in the oil at all. When we took the rocker cover off there was a small core plug in the center of the head with a pinprick hole in it, changing that stopped the steaming. Another possibility is from an exp...

Re: chocolate mousse in the radiator

Just a daft thought, are there any internal core plugs on these engines?

Re: JCB 8018 CTS Mini Excavator Fluids Alternatives - New to Mini's Help & Pointers?

Hi Dan, welcome along. Can't really help you myself but I'm sure someone will show up shortly with some answers. Just my opinion, diesel would be regular diesel, and the oil specs should be able to cross reference between JCB and local supplies. It does seem odd that points 6 and 7 are the same JCB ...
