Oil filter.
Err... Yes !!
But not as such.
Remove the crank case side panel and there is a washable strainer. It's attached to the oil pump inlet with a jubilee type clip. Just wash and replace.
No disposable filter element was fitted.

Re: Classic pictures Updated 13/09/2020
Hi, I know it's a bit late, but did anyone notice the hammer on the Hymac 580 in The first pic. in Neversweat's previous post. It's from before the hydraulic hammer caught on. It is a " BSP, (British Steel Piling)," pneumatic hammer. You can see the 600 cu. ft. compressor required to drive...

Re: Hydrovane 5 compressor
Hi Rob,
The oil is usually a 10W20 specially formulated for use in a vane compressor like Morris's Airforce 4000.
The Hydrovane compressor is pretty straightforward to work on.
Good luck.

Hi, I ran one of those for several years, It is certainly a Thwaites 3 ton machine. We had excellent service from ours in very demanding conditions, I hope you have as much luck with yours. Re: Poclain 75 CKB
Hi Jeremy,
Good to see your progress.
How did you find the seal kits to fit?
On the TCS and LC80 Poclains I seem to remember the seal kits, particularly the bearing rings,
being very ridged and a bit of a tussle to fit.
Perhaps they have moved on since then.

Re: George Fowell OR Fowler Dumpers
Sorry Vince, I'm confusing your engine with the Lister which does have the shims under the head. With your Petter AVA the shims are fitted under the pot, (cylinder), if required. The bump clearance is the clearance between the piston crown and cylinder head at top of the stroke. For your engi...
