Nice pics Stuart,I see a bogey of a 463 box in the first pic I think.I thought Blackwells were pushing with their D9Ls and not 9Rs.Iits great to see motorscrapers working still in the UK.more,more please!Down the hole with dumpers

Hi Nick.No thats not me in the saddle.I have other business that takes my time up these days.I just get to see them working on pay day or breakdown day.They are in good nick :thumbs_up: so breakdowns are rare however,the pics of the D8 in the gravel bunkers are the first job it did after the rebuild...

mega pics again.we ran a D6C 83A for about 10years.very sweet motor.D333 I think.not so sweet back end.no major breakdowns in that period but tranny allways ran hot and noisy.

Thanks Graham but I wont be needing one for a while yet.The little job I have lined up next year is blade work and what few jobs I would consider using a box for are currently passed on to fellow box men.Thanks anyway.

Hi Catkid.The 68A is powershift,direct start.I used to run 435/463G boxes.At some point I will pick up a 435 for this D8 and will also get the winch overhauled.It,s only really a hobbie so theres no hurry.It goes out to work only occasionaly. Hi Roly,would I be right in thinking that was an 84W D10? Back in 1990 i Had the chance of pushing 631 and 637C scrapers with one of these tractors.I had a D8+box on hire to Crouch Mining at Libry Moor occs and kept on at the 10 driver for a go at the scrapers with it.WOW.Just for the crack you coul...
