Re: 1993 3cx brakes any ideas help !

Thanks , I had a look at that paint , I see the guy has a lot of sales . How far does 1 litre get you ?. I spray painted a Landy in enamel and had mixed results . I was looking at Polyurethane paint on ebay and there is someone selling 20 ltr drums for under 100 quid . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skip...

Re: 1993 3cx brakes any ideas help !

I think the axle needs split to do the brake discs etc . That's obviously a fair bit of work . My own brakes weren't the best and I replaced them , but the biggest difference seemed to come with bleeding them . This was the older style axle so I can't really shed much light on the newer style axle b...

Re: JCB 3cx orbitrol pump

Gary , I bought my seal kit from Vicary Plant . I would say that it is almost impossible to renew the seals without the special tools . I spent a day trying and ended up breaking the seals . A monumental waste of time . I bought the new Orbitrol from Howford Hydraulics who are local to me http://www...

Re: JCB 3cx orbitrol pump

Gary , Vicary Plant will do this for you . The seal kit is about 50 quid . Put some postage and labour onto that and you might be as well to ask how much a new one is . I think mine was 200 . I'm no sure about the bolts you mention , does the orbitrol not just fall away when you unbolt it ? Best of ...

Re: Thwaites 3 ton shot blast and spray video, Drone and time lapse footage.

You've done a good job mate , on the video as well . I bought the kids an Aldi or Lidl GoPro each for Christmas , so we are just starting to get into all this video stuff . We don't have a Mac , so it'll be something else that I need to look into . Certainly agree that with a bit of effort the video...

Re: Searching for JCB Parts Supplier

I also had a look and I see Green Plant Machinery on ebay as well . From a lot of the stuff I have been sent by various suppliers there seems to be one main manufacturer of these aftermarket pins and bushes . I think you will get the same bits no matter where you shop . Ok , there might be some crap...
