I worked for John Howard about 1972 at Felixstowe dock on a cat 955 they had just finished a job at Liverpool docks and the cofferdams on the humber bridge,they also had a big job in Hong Kong The plant mangers name I think was Jackie Broadbent. Thanks Poncho for great photos brings back a lot of memory's I worked on road muckshifting for several years but I never work for hamptons please keep posting those photos as I can not see enough of the proper muckshifting

4" snow.had to come home at dinner time because gas leak on road outside bungalow, cant fix it for a few days could have worked all day other wise had a good one :dizzy:

I normaly reply to the things that interest me which is pre 1980 plant which was when I was on muchshifting so scapers dozers,graders etc ,a lot of the members who use to write what I liked on here dont come on so much now and the newer plant dont do it for me. As a carpenter working manly on houses...

how many cub of muck is there to shift on job is there a dozer in dig area or are you loading your shelves push and pull, is there much difference in output between the 637E and 637G. How many more scrapers on job thanks for the pictures any more will be appreciated Bob
