Interesting story Roger about Lee Moor . I live about a mile from there and work with a local bloke (Keven) who worked for public works . He said they were a funny bunch as he wasn't a proper PW man they wouldn't let him in to have snack with them in there canteen he had to sit in his car instead. H...

Nice bit of history there Martyn,i have never heard of Exeter Tractors before. I confess to know very little about TL's but wanted to know where the name Drott comes from could you enlighten me please.

It would be interesting to see how much actual plant is /was involved in production for the mine. I would imagine quite a lot.

Could be a HD31 Dave, but as i don't actually know if there are models in between the 31 and 41 dozers it could be an early one.
