Dont think Cat should mess with them too much .. What are they going to do? Cannot see VIMS going on them anytime soon TBH .. Not 3G anyway .. Cannot just Add Vims to a whole machine! .. They need to get rid of that 2nd engine on the 120 size machine if they want to continue to compete, to much fue...

First shovel, a 6030 is off to Finland i hear. Sydney 4 yearly mining show is on next month at Homebush and Cat have a stand for the first time since 1999, sort of by default seeing as Bucyrus had booked the lot but there will be yellow former white machines on display.

Hmmm, the ripper boot tells me a story as to why them tracks are worn out, not much technique on whoever did that. I just priced a D11 undercarriage and downunder it was $132K less idlers, pretty reasonable nowadays and if that machine has 17000 hrs there should be plenty of money squirelled away to...

Seriously, Cat need to tinker with them. Any one who has spent time with RH will tell you that O&K stands for oil and cracks, a change to cat hoses and seals will keep them dry, and maybe a dose of engineering will limit the cracks,, RH have always been a strong digger but that is there down si...
