Tidy grader there Brace, by the looks of it joy/ stick control is not a new concept like the newer graders on the market.

I am currently working with a bloke who is Ex Wynns, he said he was on the Diamond T's etc . His name is Roy Willmer and has some stories to tell.

Yea Luke that's the one, it hasn't been replaced the 775's have gone and now the 990. At the face is a Volvo EC700c and 2 Bell B40D's running to the primary crusher.

It's hard to tell by the picture Dave, it could be for compacting asphalt/ black top when they use a grader to run it in instead of a paver machine, or some other roller device.

Chepstow Plant Komatsu D65ex Signum

Pics of a Komatsu D65ex with a Signum blade i used on a tip job last year when we removed overburden for a quarry extension. Sorry for the poor picture quality i think there was a problem with the camera on my mate's phone.

Cat D9T at Lee Moor

Cat D9T used for waste tip reinstating at old Imery's china clay works back last year. This machine replaced a Liebherr 764 which was doing the job beforehand.

The front part of the trailer ( the neck) is attached to the truck and that is attached via a hook arrangement to the main front part of the trailer which is uncoupled and then lowered to the floor , when loading they drive the machine on then pick it all up again. i think it has its own engine /com...
