Acid etch primer and plastic

Hello, I am currently modifying some diecast models using plastic parts. I will be repainting the models but was wondering if the acid etch primer would melt the plastic parts. Has anyone here had problems or have come up with a solution. Thank you.

This contract was awarded to Walters UK after substantial media coverage allocated to a burning tip adjacent to the M4 motorway near Swansea. As well as producing health hazards to the local community, the M4 Motorway was closed on 8 separate occasions during the preceding winter due to smoke fumes....

Amazing videos. Correct me if I'm wrong but as a child I remember something back in the 90's. Didn't walters mining do something similar with an underground fire in the vallies somewhere.

I got mine. Nice model but had a small paint chip. Disapointed that it has a plastic Hydraulic tank on the side that is a totaly diferent shade of yellow to the model. Also the tracks are hard to move and one tension idler isn't working so i have a bit of a slack track that makes the track not sit o...
