Having run Bobcats for many years I think they are marvelous for so many applications by design they are very busy in use and subject to heavy tyre wear i.e. constantly skidding around on their own axis. Graham as you say various people have looked at it before you this has probably been done but could it be something as simple as a faulty main pressure relief valve cerainly sounds like some kind of malfunction or restriction in the system causing an overload on the pump ......just my thought cheers...

Robert, Sounds like you had a bit of a nightmare there with the MB these are things we can do well without.No offense taken I was just interested in comparing the two systems and agree a compromise is good in this case

Robban C I only have the luxury of mechanical linkeage and always felt it was certainly a step up on the pick & shovel.The fact that a machine has servo controls does not mean it can out perform older equipment. However when I have driven those with servos I did like it,youd be a fool not to. As...

Just like everything else that worked perfectly well mechanically where only gradual linkeage wear and old age were a problem we now have greatly "improved" features which only those with the correct technical equipment can solve any problems thats progress im afraid
