Thanks for the reply's, I was offered a good set of pads from an excavator (like new) but I would need to cut them down so I thought I'd look arround a bit more see what I could find. Wyn, didn't know if Williams of chirk were still going, bought a burned out 943 from them 15 or more years ago still...

Looking for a good set of track plates/shoe's for a Cat 955 12A ,
15" plates with 5/8" bolt holes they need to be good to go on new chains,
later 955 or 951 may fit.

Has anybody on this forum had experiance of or owned a late Caterpillar 943 8WF series machine
these were the last 943's made, I would be interested in any information on these machines or know if any
machines exist in the UK or Europe.
