Back to it, eventually. Someone said it was a lot of bother to convert these to electric start and they're correct. Hi Gordon. The exhaust ports can block up with deposits on these motors, Mine was blocked solid on one cylinder and had to chisel the blockage out. I was told that occurs because they run on tickover for long periods I.E tea breaks meal breaks ETC.(knowing their reputation for hand cranking) I can b...

The skip on mine was out of line by a good 2 inches vertically, had to cut, repair, and shut to fix it, the repairs are also on Winget 4s posts.

I think it was riveted to one of the mudguards, I think engine covers depend on model, mine was supposed to have one
but there's no evidence of it.
