Re: JCB 3C mk1 hoses

Pirtek, is the last place on Earth to go for any hose items, they will tear your arse out with the bill etc, ask around the local contractors or Farmers for info on a good place to try or a crafty native that knows what he is upto, if you get into a dogs hole send me a p.m. and I might be able to he...

Re: JCB 3D III Shuttle transmission issue

Did you read my post??? and did you understand it??? adjusting the (should be seal locked) top speed adjustment will not give any joy to an engine that cannot hold power at even half speed, so you have wasted a bit of day light here, check the stop control on top of the pump first, then if that is g...

Re: JCB 3D III Shuttle transmission issue

If the engine starts, runs but cannot dig "Cotton Wool" your first thing to check after the air filter is the stop control, remove the stop cable from the lever and check the lever is set on the spindle correctly, then with the lever pushed all the way forward into the run position try the...

Re: HELP... Spicer/Tuner COM-T4-2012 benford 4000PS hydrostatic transmission

If its the g/box I am thinking it is?? the usual issue is the oil feed entering the clutch hubs is via the end of the shaft with seal ring porting (steel rings) reverse is the usualy hub to fail due to wear in the housing needing a bore and sleeve to repair, then it needs the shafts shimming to corr...

Post a picture of the G/Box I am sure I can tell you what your problem will be, is the main case bolted together in 2 half sections with Vickers valve control on the top towards the back. tctractors

Re: HELP... Spicer/Tuner COM-T4-2012 benford 4000PS hydrostatic transmission

A picture of the G/Box would be handy, is it the 1 with 2 Vickers mag valves on the back end to work the F-R bit if so it sounds like it needs a bore and sleeve on the back case oil journal, plus a bit of shim work on the mainshaft will be needed along with a re-plate and re-seal of the slave piston...

Re: Liners on a 3C Mk3

The liner hight above the block face is very important as this tolerance is the only thing that holds the liner in place and stops the liner rattling about in the block, the B.M.C. 498 engine that is in the Mk3 sometimes needed the counterbore cutting and a Stainless Steel shim to correct this issue...

Re: Berliet in Australaisa

The Scania V8 was an option engine in Mack's, also the drive axle in a Scania is very similar looking and constructed to the Mack, they both use the bolted splined end cap on the floating half shaft.
