Yes Ian I think this time of year it does get a bit harder for some of us to get any pics, the dark nights certainly don't help.

Yes Joe it is a JCB 7 a very old and modified one too, I love the way they have adapted a Priestman undercarriage on it :D

Well I guess this ones not been so looked after, nonetheless it has been heavily modified with an underslung dipper ram and a Priestman undercarriage :shock:

Hi David, welcome to CMN. I can only offer you a small bit of info on air brakes but not on dumptruck brakes, for which I assume there are some similarities? When I worked on the wagons the air brakes were what are know as spring brakes and as the name suggests the mechanical action of a large coil ...
