A PITA!

I would think a 15w/40 would help keep up oil pressure in warmer weather on an old engine. I still use mineral oil in more recent build engines.

Nice little machine. Quite a lot of Hyundai sold in this part of the UK by Ernest Doe.

It almost looks like an adaptation of a pedestrian twin drum?

The mixer 6 wheeler is a D series with, probably, the Perkins V8 engine.

Heavy old thing, I had forgotten about the linked bar between the legs and the extensions that can be dropped down.

I still have a Bomag 75 vib roll, helif that in't a nasty tool to sit on.

Seconded great pics. The old Scammell Pioneer has a big job on getting that excavator out of the mud. I know by winching very very slowy with snatch blocks they could achieve amazing feats. The white 4x4 with the Scammell is interesting it is a Portugese UMM. There were a lot of weird and wonderful...
