Re: For Tim
Nice pics Steve, its been a while since I've seen the inside of a paintshop, always used to love seeing a freshly painted wagon come out of the paintshop, can still smell the Tekaloid paint drying one em now.

Re: Crane's pre 1970
Hi Simon, Welcome to CMN thanks for posting the crane pics, very interesting although I am no crane expert I'm sure there are members who can enlighten us all on the cranes in these pics. Are Beck & Pollitzer a national company or just a Midlands company? I do still see trucks in your livery in ...

Re: hanomag excavator
Yes they did make excavators and when they became part of the IBH group some of their machines were marketed over here as Hymac, there should be some pics of them in the Hymac thread if you wade through it, I'm sure I posted a couple of pics in there.

Other than th...

Re: Sennebogen
Here's a Sennebogen that was being used on a demolition job back in late 2005/early 2006.
The first time I saw these machines was back in 1976 when they were the main stay of J.T.Broadhurst & Sons scrap metal recycling yard, they had about 13 of them.

Nice pics Steve this is indeed a very rare beast, the only ones I have ever come across have been materials handlers although I was aware that they had made a few excavators.
