D4 chains will fit so Ive heard, but getting good used D4 chains is hard = I know! I ended up buying new ones from Melbourne from EMS- cost me heaps!

I will be fitting safety chains to mine. I cant believe Cat made the D4 and D2s that way - all that hold them in place is a couple of bolts across the spring end that easily shear. On a steep bank under full power it is doubtful that even a skillled oerator could react fast enough to disengage the c...
