Re: Bakewell Showground Spectacular 2010
Thanks from me as well for the pictures. What was the grey crawler with a roof , a Fowler perhaps? What about the red digger just next to the Hydra digger? Looks like a sleeper Foden in the background of one photo and some lovely background scenery. Cheers lads :) Pete the crawler with the grey roo...

Re: Poclain 75 A Nice find.
Nice one Chris did you buy it?
Although I knew that Poclain used Magi Deutz engines in their machines I didn't realize the 75 had a five cylinder Magi Deutz engine five pots always seam a weird configuration somehow.

Re: JCB 3111 (sloping cab)
Bob I have no more pictures of the back hoe, as you can see the machine was surrounded by cars, but next time I go there I will try and get some if the machine is parked in a convenient position.

Re: JCB 3CIII leaking from the loader valve
Paul, I can't say that I've ever taken a hydraulic valve block to pieces before but I cannot see any reason why you could not remove the spool from the valve block that has the leak and replace the "o"rings. Obviously thats assuming there is enough access to get the valves innards out, I w...

Another fine old JCB that I came across today, these machines survive in many different places from farmers yards to preserved railways amazing just how many you can see when your out and about

Re: Weatherill
Came across these two Weatherills at different preserved railways, the one with the extended lifting arms looks like it still see's some action.
Amazing how some of this old kit still soldiers on.

Re: JCB 3CX 1988 Sitemaster intermittently stalls
Hi George, welcome to CMN.
Does your 3CX only cut out when you use the back actor or does it cut out if you have a heavy load on the front end too?
Daft question but have you checked the condition of the airfilter?
Does the engine slow down then cut out or just cut dead immediately?
