Hi Does anyone on here know where I might find a dipper ram for an old 580D? Would that not be part of their safety? The load platform rolls but leaves the driver (and power plant) standing.

Nick lovely old period shot with the AEC Marshal as well. My father owned and sometimes operated a small Smith 10 in a small gravel pit in the 50s to early 60s. Wish i could find a photo!

Think it might be different markets. Some markets do not require sliding king posts or the cost. The centre post is also more stable and they appear to be used with the swing down legs.
